Recently my family went to Glacier National Park in Montana.  Along the way we saw several tourist stops where they sold chainsaw-carved animals. I've seen hundreds of bears, tables, mountain sheep, mountain goats and Native American designs carved from large stumps of wood with chainsaws. A neighbor of mine actually has one of these art pieces in his front yard. I think the first time I saw one of these carvings was about ten years ago, though I am sure they have been around much longer. Seems now days you can find these everywhere.
Though I have never seen creations like the ones shown in this video/slideshow. These competitors are amazing artists who just might inspire you to pick up a chainsaw too.
