Highland Art Center’s 26th Annual Juried Art
Show 2010
Exhibition will run from October 2 through
October 24, 2010. Entries must be received
on or before Monday, September 27, by 4:00
pm. No exceptions. Open to residents, 18
years and older, of all Northern California
counties. $5.00 per entry, non-refundable.

Art in the City
The City of Redding holds an Open Call to
Artists each year from August 1 through
September. Twenty-one artists, group of
artists or schools are sought to display their
artwork in both City Hall and the Redding
Library. Selections for the Call are made by
a panel consisting of the City's Art in Public
Places Committee and members of City
New exhibits are hung three
times each year and the artwork is carefully
selected to provide an engaging experience.
Since the program's inception we have exhibited
over 1,900 pieces of artwork from
more than 160 artists. The City collects no
commission on the sale of exhibited art.

Pecha Kucha Night
Pecha Kucha calls for several PowerPoint
slide presentations of 6 minutes and 40 seconds
each (20 slides, 20 seconds each) on
any interest or passion by local people,
young or old. A committee of volunteers
will select 8-10 presentations for each PKN.

West Coast Biennial
Friends of the Arts at Turtle Bay, in cooperation
with Turtle Bay Exploration park, is
sponsoring its first biennial juried exhibition.
Open to west coast artists currently
living in Califoria, Oregon, Washington and
