April 16 & 17 - Beginning Watercolor Workshop:

“It’s Magic!”

The perfect class for total beginners, and also a great refresher course for those wanting to get back into painting.   In this workshop, you will learn fundamentals and tons of techniques as we splish-splash our way into creating amazing watercolor paintings.  You will learn to see the world in a whole new exciting way…..through your artist eyes!  You will amaze yourself!

Class times:  9 – 4 each day.    Class fee:  $135.

(Watercolor supply kits are available for rent or purchase)

 

 

April 30 & May 1 – Intermediate Watercolor Workshop:

“Secrets to Watercolor”

This workshop is for those with a basic understanding of watercolor painting.  Through demos and actual paintings, we’ll cover color, composition, values, glazes, washes, contrast, wet-into-wet techniques and much more.  You’ll learn many tips on creating exciting paintings!  Subject matter will include painting skies, water, rocks, trees, barns, florals and more.

Class times:  9 – 4 each day.    Class Fee:  $135.

 

 

June 4 & 5 – Beginning Drawing & Pen and Ink Workshop:

“Yes, you can do it!”

Think you can’t draw?  Well, come to this workshop and you’ll find out you can!  Also come if you’d like to brush up on your drawing skills.  We’ll cover the basics of drawing and sketching, and you’ll have fun discovering your new talent.  Your ‘ah-ha’ moments await you, as you learn to understand the language of line. Also, we’ll cover techniques for successfully using pen & ink.

Class times:  9 – 4 each day.    Class Fee:  $135.

June 10 & 11 (Friday & Saturday)- Soapstone Carving Workshop:

This basic soapstone workshop is being taught as a tribute to Bill Peters, our wonderful friend, artist and instructor, who is greatly missed.  We will celebrate his infectious spirit of fun as we share the fundamentals of carving soapstone.  Prepare to be mesmerized and swept away in a timeless state as you create three dimensional objects from this beautiful stone.

Class times:  9 – 4 both days.    Class Fee: $65 per day (come one or both days)
