2011 Show Schedule – Main Street Gallery

We are into our third month of the new Main Street Gallery. We are a group of ten women artists who early in 2011 took on a major commitment to save this beautiful gallery, which was due to close. (See the archives of this Main Street Gallery page (Sept) for the article by Shannon Rooney on our origins.) Our all-volunteer board of directors manages every aspect of the gallery operations. Our first three months have been amazingly successful on all counts. We’ve had raves on our outstanding shows (you can see some photos below), we’ve gained new members, and we’ve had a successful sales picture. Our refurbished gallery and upgraded display areas showcase our artisans’ beautiful jewelry, marquetry, glass, ceramic, and fabric art. We are committed to quality and affordable art and crafts. Our show schedule for 2011 is below, along with photos from our July, August, and September shows. Prints and cards from these shows are still available for sale in the gallery.
