Cooking with Local Olive Oils and Vinegars with Jadda Miller

Saturday, March 10, 3:00pm to 5:30pm: Cooking with Local Olive Oils & Vinegars/ Jadda Miller $40

Celebrating our local olive growing region, Jadda will create a whole menu featuring the oils of Pacific Sun and Lucero, both in Corning. Varietals of olive oil will be tasted and contrasted to show students the subtleties of each, similar to wine tasting. Menu: Arugula and pine nut salad with blood orange vinaigrette, Olive oil poached cod with white beans and chorizo with aged balsamic sauce and sage chips, Grilled bread drizzled with herb olive oil, and Olive Oil Cake with vanilla ice cream, candied walnuts, and fig balsamic vinegar.

Irish Tea Party with our Staff

March 17, 2:30pm to 5:00pm: Irish Tea Party with Staff $50

Bring your china teacup and saucer to That Kitchen Place on St. Patrick’s Day to plan, prepare, serve, and enjoy a (mostly) traditional British high tea. The menu will pay tribute to Irish cuisine with items like Irish soda bread, tea sandwiches of smoked salmon and corned beef, potato pasties, shortbreads, and various dessert dainties. And remember, everyone is Irish on St. Paddy’s Day!

Pam’s popular chicken dinner class is back for spring with more delicious Italian-inspired main dishes. Pam will be cooking Ann’s Neapolitan Chicken with Roasted Potatoes, Chicken Piccata with Orzo, and Chicken Florentine over Rice. Yum!

Much cheaper than a trip to the Old Country!
