ARTAZINE is the leading resource for ARTs Education in the North State.
Our mission is to eliminate barriers between the community and ARTs education.

ARTAZINE is provided at no cost to the community of Shasta and surrounding counties.  It is the only comprehensive listing of ARTs education available.

Online Presence
ARTAZINE established its online presence in July 2009. After just one year, We average 5,000 visitors per month. We feature instructor announcements, calls to artists, regular articles and an exhaustive ARTs instruction directory, including biographies of our instructors.

Quarterly Publication
ARTAZINE Magazine is always available for free download in (.pdf) format right here at www.artazine.org.
We are currently working on our tenth edition. Our first edition in Summer 2008 featured 14 pages of ARTs instruction and class schedules. Our ninth edition, Summer 2010 featured 70 full-color pages with ARTicles from local instructors. Each edition features artwork from regional artists who participate in our quarterly cover contest.

8.4% of parents send their children to art lessons.
34.6% of adults choose the ARTs for their leisure activity
45% of adults in the Pacific region (CA) haved attended an arts related     leisure activity in the past 12 months.
